Today let us take a look at Scott Wade's Dirty Car Art.
Dirty Car Art???Huh? What is that?Actually, Scott Wade has come up with a rather unique idea. He creates works of art on the dust that accumulates on his car's rear window. If you are like me and the only work of art you have ever done on a car is to draw a smiley on the rear window, then I won't blame you for not having too many expectations. But his work has to be seen to be believed.Mona Lisa, Einstein, commoners- they are all there! The gallery is awe-inspiring to say the least(Especially for ones like me whose idea of "art" is taking a picture of the dog eating spaghetti!! )The lay out of the site is simple and gallery is easy-to-navigate. Only wish there were more pictures, but in the future the number will increase.Just being another artist is something anyone could do. Wade has shown how to think really out-of-the box.So next time you take the sponge to wash the car, wait for a second and think- can you do anything with all that dust, create a masterpiece, maybe?
And don't you go screaming at the kid for scribbling on the car windows, who knows, you might be discouraging a future artist...Bye for now,Happy Browsing:)
Most of us have a rush hour that lasts 24hours. We move at such a pace of life that stopping to pick up a book seems like wishful thinking and actually making time to read it- downright fantasy! There might be zillions of authors in your must-read list, but how many are you ever ACTUALLY able to read? The fact is what little free time you have is spent reading mails in the office and the book is put off for another day.Well, trying to solve this problem is http://dailylit.com.
With Daily Lit you get small sections of the books in your mail. That is, you get to read the book
s of your choice in sort of a serialized form.
They include a huge collection of over 1000 books to select from. The books can be searched by category, author and title.
They give a massive collection of classics and these are free of cost. Some of the copyrighted works come with a small fee. I searched for books on humor. Seems there are not many funny writers out there- or maybe not too many readers prefer humor. But despite the fact that the number of books in this category was small, the books available were really well-reputed ones. Maybe I will subscribe to one and see how it goes...
The books also come with reviews and ratings from the readers, so you could use their opinions to guide you.Hmmm.. 5 minutes of quality reading delivered in you mail...that is really taking literature to a new level. The idea is really creative and something that book lovers, who have not been able to find time due to their busy schedule, might love.
Daily Lit could benefit those who want to develop a reading habit. A little time every day spent in reading a small part of the book might not seem as daunting as reading the entire book and they might actually get to start liking the hobby!
Daily lit also has forums and other benefits given to members, so if you would like to interact with others and discuss your books- well you know what to do.
More on this website when I have tried out one of the books.
See you again soon with a new website.
Till then, bye!
